In this poem, simple minds mean people who have the ability to learn but they chose not to use them; is it because of laziness? You will decide. (Continue with “Add Detail”)

The Traits of Simple Minds

Simple minds always surprise; Simple mind easy to satisfy.

Simple minds love to get high; Simple mind easy to suicide.

Simple minds have lazy drive; Simple mind easy to fall behind.

Simple minds like to withdraw and hide; Simple mind easy to cry.

Simple minds hardly think before try; Simple mind easy to paralyze.

Simple minds believe without analyze; Simple mind easy to hypnotize.

Simple minds tonight happy, tomorrow cry; Simple minds easy to suffer or even died.

Simple minds never bother to ask “Why”; Simple minds easy to under estimated great mind.

Simple minds so good at amusing each others mind; Simple minds easy to bond with it own kinds.

Simple minds like to demoralize good minds; Simple minds easy to regret for their foolish mind.

Simple minds get used to stack problems really high; Simple minds easy to have tear down their eyes.

Simple minds! Don’t make your sweat heart cry, and when are you going to realize? That your mom is not always by your side, so wake up tonight before you are falling too far behind, and always bear this in mind that self-actualized Maslow didn’t lie.

Simple Minds are considering a surprise return to live concerts in Australia and New Zealand early next year. Although as of yet no contracts have been signed and therefore no dates absolutely confirmed, serious negotiations are however underway.

Despite the fact that some agencies are already announcing dates currently, we can asssure again that as from today nothing has been 100% confirmed. For more details keep watching on Simpleminds.com over the next few days!

The characteristic of simple minds is: Simplicity

Simple has been used to describe someone slow in thinking or reasoning. Simple minds don't usually surprise, as your first line states.

The opposite of simple is complicated. A complicated mind may not find success due to sheer laziness. That is much worse than being simple. I would think of a complicated mind as being one analytical and thoughtful, thought provoking. Some people paralyze themselves with complicated thoughts and unfounded fears. A complicated mind may also withdraw and hide. Think of John Lennon and the days he did away in that hotel.

My suggestion is you define better simple and complicated thinking and try the poem again. But keep writing!

is this like putting someone down to a lower grade?. I never thought there are negative adjectives that do characterize a simple mind. If you asked me, a simple mind is the most thought-provoking mind ever. I am always called a simple mind because i have a simple job and simple menial job, but I am myself and i stand my beliefs. Situations offer me a not-so promising job right now. but my simple mind tells me, to have hope, it'll all change not too long from now. =)

Simple minded individuals lack morality and loathe in apathy and morbidity. I think we could all at one time or another use our simple mind but the notion of choice within the poem itself would not fall under the "Simple Mind" traits.

I think a simple mind wrote this poem but simplistic minds do not complicate life. Perhaps they are more easily contented with the status quo or perhaps they lack the intellectual ability to go further.

I don't agree that your definition is of a 'simple' mind. Simple actually seems the complete opposite of what you define. Perhaps you mean 'Lazy Mind' or 'Indolent Mind'.

A simple mind would not nor could not think, be and do what you have attributed to it. It would not have that capacity.
