Why are most pop stars and entertainment types so liberal?

You have to understand where liberal and conservative mindsets come from. Liberal thought is a fantasy utopia complex. Conservatism is grounded in pragmatism. Celebrities, lose touch with pragmatism once they get to this level of income and stardom, where they don't have to be pragmatic anymore. Also the creative mind is more directed to liberal social agendas. Conservative ideals come from having to survive in the real world, to work hard to earn a living and take care of your family, to defend your family from the badguys, this kind of stuff leads you into conservative thought. Its the same reason younger people are liberal. Lack of responsibility. Do you imagine Sean Penn sitting down and balancing his checkbook and writing out the monthly bills? These people don't live in the real world its just a fact.

I find it funny that this fact makes liberals feel good about themselves. That celebrities are mostly liberal. Yep, their marriages last about 2 years, they go to Africa to steal babies and claim to adopt them so that they look like humanitarians, they drink or do drugs excessively until they check into high dollar rehab clinics to get straight for a week, they can't manage their daily lives without managers and handlers, they generally treat other people like they don't even exist, yes animals are more valuable to them than you are. If that is your rolemodel, you have exactly the value they think you have.

And yes we have Brittany Spears, and also Denzel Washington, and Mel Gibson, Pacino, the late Charleton Heston, any number of country music stars, and most professional athletes. So you can have Madonna and Gweneth, Kanye West, Janine Garofolo, and Clooney. Most of those people I wouldn't even spit on if they were on fire.

Same is true for divorce,drunkenness and orgies.

They want a license to live out their own sinful desires and the liberals are the party that best offers them that opportunity.


bottom line, they are selfish, greedy people and will do all they can to protect their hungry lifestyle. They don't care who pays a price for their greed and shameful life styles.

The majority of all people in the various types of the arts are Liberal. Actors, painters, dancers, directors, nusicians, etc.

To be an artist one has to have empathy with other people.

Also, artists tend to earn a living on their owm without exploiting others.

Because a lot of people in entertainment stay informed about the world and its problems. They tend to have an open mind since they travel a lot and learn from different cultures. They also have a more progressive mentally unlike many evangelicals and conservatives. Liberalism and intelligence go hand in hand.

Because it takes the mindset of a Liberal to succeed in those professions. I don't know if you notice, but they are all interested in success in all the wrong places. They get married and divorced faster than you can blink an eye. Their kids are rotten and spoiled and do whatever they want. Their life is about nothing but money, fame, and material possessions. when they do donate money, It's just funny that they demand media attention when they are donating. Sounds to me like they do it just to up their reputation. If someone really cared about what they are donating to, they wouldn't care about all the media attention. Definitely sounds like a Liberal to me.

Well for one, they are mostly from California and California is a democratic state. Second, they do it for their public image. Imagine the heat and critisizm a famous person would receive if they went in public and said they didn't support gay marriages, for example. The media would assume they didn't like gays and it would hurt their image.
