of course I have "a clue" what "Hitler was doing", the point is just doing what you think is best isn't always good enough, Hitler thought what he was doing was best for Germany too

People need to stop the Bush+evil dictator comparisons because while Bush is not our best president by far, he also isn't genocidal or oppressive to his people. You obviously don't know your history all that well, or you would know that what Hitler did to his people was vile and horrendous to a degree that I don't feel any other world leader has matched up to this point. Are you currently living in fear of having soldiers come to your home and take you to a concentration camp or kill you because of your religion or appearance? A Hitler/Bush comparison is quite a stretch. On to the question. If you would've asked this years ago when he was first starting out in the presidency I would've said it was a good thing, but he has proven to have a serious flaw: he's so stubborn and stuck on his own course that he refuses to heed the advice of anyone, even highly qualified individuals. There was a report put out a couple of months ago detailing suggested changes that were thought to be needed in the war in Iraq. The panel consisted of 5 democrats and 5 republicans, and they unanimously agreed on the report. Bush basically showed that he wasn't going to listen to any of it. (of course he danced around the question, never outright saying whether or not he was going to use their advice but he has shown that he isn't.) At this point, no, we shouldn't admire Bush. His inflexibility, stubborness, and complete lack of a desire to listen to anything other than his own thoughts is going to continue to cause problems until we get a new president in '08.

No, I detest him for being too arrogant to even feature that he might be wrong and his refusal to listen to those who are more experienced in foreign policy and war games is unforgivable. There's a difference between sticking to what you think is right and sticking because you can't admit you were wrong to begin with - and that's George Bush. Even when he admits mistakes he won't take the responsibility. Last week he said "Mistakes have been made," no personal responsibility accepted by this demagogue. I'm just praying we get through the next two years without his incompetence igniting WWIII.

When was sending our own young men and women to a war a good thing? To protect our freedom bullshit? What Americans need to understand is that politics is corrupt and the past administration has taken advantage of the ignorant portion of the American population. They have used Nationalism to give these people pride, and have lied to them about their intentions with this war. Ask yourself, does it make sense to shed blood in order to "help" another nation? For money, the govt would do anything.

Hitler crammed as many Jews as he possibly could into concentration camps....and if Guantanamo Bay was bigger and Castro his friend, Bush would cram as many Muslims in there as he could,too....there are more ways to subtly kill people than what Hitler did

You almost had a credible question until your ignorant Hitler statement. You obviously have no clue as to what Hitler was doing and it's now painfully obvious you have no clue was this country is doing either. Yes you should admire this president. You actually need to thank your lucky stars you have a president who isn't afraid to do the right thing.

Obviously not you just proved your own question. But comparing Hitler to Bush is crossing a huge line. Bush didn't put people into concentration camps and at least he has some sense of decency and conduct to him. We should at least pay some respect for him not only because hes our president and we put him there but because he puts up with a lot of ****.

Admire pigheaded stubbornness? No.

And by the way, he isn't the boss. The US citizenry is the boss, he works for us.
