You are not on your own. Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, etc. etc. may not have been the greatest human beings on this earth either but here are some things they did which Bonds has not:
1. Played for their TEAM, not themselves
2. Worked harder when they were dissatisfied with their own performance, not blamed the press, the fans, teammates
3. Did not turn to performance-enhancing substances
4. Won world championships
I hope he does NOT break the record. If he does, that still does not make him a better player than those 3 (or many others) in my book.

Nope...I'm with you. I am so sick of Barry Bonds this & Bonds this. Blah blah blah. There are other players in the Majors that can hit homers & don't use steroids. I personally don't think the Giants should deal with it anymore....just focusing on him breaking the home run record. They should concentrate on winning........gee......what a concept!

yes, I do. he is a complete and total cheater and everything he's accomplished in the last 10 years should be stricken from the record books. he has irreparably damaged the game and who knows how long that will take to overcome. absolutely awful!

yep i can't stand the guy. did you see him when he played for pittsburgh he was scrawny now he's huge. he is/was definatly on steroids
