i have a scion tc, there's a whistling noise each time i accel, what could it be???

Probably a leak around your aircleaner, Or possibly a vaccume leak.
Check the seating of the aircleaner and make sure the gasket didn't roll out of where it's supposed to sit when the 2 halves are joined before you lock it in place with the clips.

Does your car have turbo? Thats most likely it if its a small whistling sound when you quickly accel.
