People want to challenge themselves. It's similar to a builder who wants to see what they can create with their own 2 bare hands. It brings a sense of accomplishment and self worth. It builds character and teaches some of life's great lessons. You don't have to do a large business venture to learn this it can be as simple and selling lemonade or starting your own lawn cutting business or babysitting. Some people enjoy creating services that help other people and they don't have a boss to look up to.
