I would have to say 'the dance.' The song really stirs ones emotions. Now as far as an impact on country western music it would be 'friends in low places.' That song galvanized a lot of young folks to the country scene.

Friends in low places. One of the greatest drinkin' song of all-time. I have been spinning records at nightclubs and bars since the mid 1980s and that song makes people drink and the owner makes more money!
