Yes it is. Most states are considered "right to work" which means either the employer or employee can terminate at will and without cause. This is especially true with a contract employee and one of the main reasons employers use contractors.

Some personalities fit in certain positions and some don't. If the company feels you are not a match for their environment, they have the right to let you go.

Take care and best of luck finding a better fit.

Yes. If you are working through the employment agency as a contractor to their client then you are employed by the agency-not the company you were doing work for.

Many employment agencies give their customers a "satisfaction guarantee" which says that they can let go, or exchange contractors for most any reason, including not fitting in to the company.

Hopefully you will find something that is a better match for you and your talents. Good luck!

Most states are called "Right to Work" states. This means that either side can terminate employment, without notice, for any reason or no reason.

As a contractor, you have even fewer rights. Yes. The employer could fire you because your manager was cranky that morning. "There was no click" is perfectly acceptable.
