I bought a car from a dealership contingent on a wind noise in the driver rear door being fixed. I picked the vehicle up one month ago and they have attempted to fix it twice and guess what I stil have a wind noise. I don't have the window listed on the "We Owe" sheet because it was supposed to be fixed before I picked the car up. I am 100% sure it was written on a document that the dealership has. What are my options?

The salesman said it was the window. The inventory control man said it was the triangle window. The people he sent the car to said the door is not right because its no the original door. So apparently it was in an accident that was not on carfax.

I would be happy with just picking out another car.

Depends on what state you live. If you live in Colorado and it has previous damage over $300.00, the dealer is suppose to disclose it to you. The problem with that is, you would have to prove that the dealer new it had over $300.00 of damage at the time of the sale, and pretty much the only way that can be done is to prove it was repaired by the dealer. Carfax very rarely reports accidents. In Colorado it reports no accidents unless it becomes a salvage vehicle. I don't know why if it is a whole new door why you would have an air leak window problem. It could be a bad molding. If you live in a dry climate, not unsuprising a molding would dry out and become a little hard and cause a little wind noise. I would take it a glass shop and have them look at it. If it not listed in We Owe, probably have no recourse.

Well if was a used car No because it is as is.And a new car you have only 3 days to bring it back if you change your Mind.If you have any kind of warranty then make sure they get it fixed and you pay Nothing.
