I am from southcentral Alaska originally. I did live in Fairbanks over ten years ago for a short stint. I am going to be moving back there 6/07 from Tennessee and wanted to know what the average electric bill is for a 500 sqft one bedroom apartment. I am looking at two places to rent, one includes the electric. I am trying to see which I should choose. Thanks!

When I was looking for apartments last August, all I had to do was call the electric company and give them the address and they were able to tell me the average bill for the people who previously lived here.
So far my bill has been a lot lower then the previous renter, but I also am a notorious light shutter offer, and unplug anything that's not being used (electric appliances still draw power when turned off).
