Some couples are happy to swing - I don't really see it as being that much different.
Curious to how this situation came to light for your wife though...
It sounds like you have a much higher sex drive than your wife and if she's happy (and not cause she's scared you'll leave her if she doesn't agree - happy) then why not.
I used to know a couple who had the type of agreement. She was a career woman, had twin boys and no sex drive. She however let her husband have sex with other women (obviously with conditions) and she reckons her marriage was wonderful.

if and only if they both are aware of the other. If anyone is in the dark about the situation then it's wrong. This is not about any vows or rediculous ceremonies. The same would hold true if you were simply in a relationship. It's all about being open and honest with those that you are with.

It is morally wrong. No one in that situation can benefit. There can be no good that could come from it. It may seem that it is all good right now, but it will blow up one day. If you are not happy with your wife and want to see other women...get a divorce.

If they both knew about each other and were okay with it, than it would be okay. If you're wife doesn't know about your lover, or visa-versa, than no, it wouldn't be okay. This means deception is at work, and anytime there is deception there is the chance that someone will get hurt.
Having an open relationship in one thing, it's a whole 'nother thing when only you know you are having an open relationship.

You just have to ask yourself, would you want her to have a lover on the side? If you wouldnt like it, then its probably not a good idea. If your cool with it, I guess do what you want, it's your life. I think if you really loved your wife you wouldnt do anything to cause her any pain or grief, but I guess if shes cool with it, whatever man, its your world.

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY WRONG. You took an oath when you got married, does this mean nothing to you. Have you ever tried talking to your wife about why she does want a love life. Maybe she has issues. To many unfaithful men in this world why do you have to add to it. Count your blessings and STOP and enjoy your married life

Yes it's wrong, because your NOT being faithful to your wife. When you married your wife did you not take vows saying that you would forsake ALL others, meaning that you would stay faithful to you wife???
Obviously your only thinking about yourself, and don't really love your wife, because if you did love her, you wouldn't cheat on her.

No it would be called an affair, and in some states you could go to jail for it.

Yeah it's wrong. You took vows when you got married. You are not honoring them. It's called adultery.
