I have broken my index finger and was on splint for two weeks, and now it is very stiff. Could you please recommend any specifice food or excercise which could help me to heal up my finger.

2 weeks is not long enough for a broke finger to heal. I broke mine 2 tears ago about this time of year. It took close to 2 months for it to heal, it's still crooked at the joint. To exercise it just open & close a fist. Use deep heat hubs. I know that hurts and it's goin to get hit. Hang in there & watch out for it for a while. Good luck. I hope this helps or a least give you something to think about.

Put your hand in a bowl of warm water and carefully and repeatedly try to bend the finger up and down. Do this 3 times a day. Really try to move it; don't be afraid. If it's somewhat painful, take an Advil or tylenol 30 minutes before the exercizes. If after 3 days your finger isn't noticeably loosened up, call the doc and get it checked out.
