Is there a shared reality?
Or do we each have our own?
Do we move back and forth between both?
Or are we trapped in one?
What the heck am i talking about?

Reality, like everthing else in this universe is relative. There are some reference points, like the speed of light, that are helpful reference points in gauging the rest of the universe. The reference point for reality is the source from which everything in this universe flows, aka God, the source, whatever you want to call it. Science is uncovering this in the field of quantum theory, whereby a wave state electron can be made to be a particle by the act of observation. It is nothing in the machinery that makes the wave a particle, it is the act of a conciousness observing it. Read the book, "Schroedingers Cat" for more on this.
You've really jumped off the deep end here, I could go on lots about this, but I would say if you study religion, philosophy and physics enough you'll find more on what you are asking about. Buddhism and Hinduism dive deep into stuff like this but there is so much there and it is so twisted through translations and personal interpretation in some cases that it can be more confusing than helpful. Read as much as you can, keep an open mind, and always keep learning your whole life. Good luck.

That's a very good question. I think in order to answer it though you'd have to get a poll from everyone in the whole world on what they think, And these days i don't think people are that honest. But i do think that there must be a common reality among all sane people that allow them to interact with the everyday world. If not, then the escalator i took to go to the second floor of the mall was really a teleport, or even a sausage. Lol!

It depends on what you call reality. We call this world we live in "reality" because if it was a dream, we would all have to be sharing the same dream, so it's more likely that this is real since everyone else in our reality has their own minds. However, there is nothing that prevents a person from saying "But what if everyone else is a figment of your own mind?" except for the fact that if it was your own mind's imagination at work, you would know what everyone else is thinking and you would know what everyone else knows--which obviously you don't (pretty obvious if you're in a math class that's too advanced for you).

Each one of us has our own reality, but they are sometimes linked.
