It all depends on what department. I would recommend looking at their job listing to find their current needs.

I applied to Google on a Thursday night. On Friday I spoke to a recruiter and on Monday I had a quick phone screen.

I did not get the job. Google is very selective. If you say you are a C++ expert, you will be questioned by someone who is, in fact, an expert in that particular field, and you will need to demonstrate your expertise.

My opinion is that Google prefers to hire very solid people, and not take risk by hiring anybody that they have any hesitations or reservations concerning. They get enough resumes that they can be picky. I would still like to work for them, for obvious reasons.

The bottom line: If you have the skills they are looking for, and you are very strong in those skills, I don't doubt that you can get a position there. However, your definition of "expert" and theirs may differ...

Sites/Blogs from India need to be active for over 6 months before they will be considered. You need "Substantial unique text content".
