Setting up Ftp Help?

I am behind a router Dlink WBR-1310
I have serv-u ftp client up and running but i cannot connect to my ip address 142.177.***.*** but i can connect behind the router 192.168.0.100 loads up fine. I have the port forwared to 21 on my router but i cant seem to get it to connect to 142.177.***.***
need some help thanks

Thats fine. You can't connect to your NATted address unless you set up a DNAT static route.
