Here's the deal, I heard that if you already have a Nintendo Wii, you can play Gamecube games on it. Does the same go for a Nintendo DS? Because, I really want to buy BrainAge, but, I don't want to waste money to get a DS.

Can anyone help me?

You need to have the DS system to play Brain Age. You should get one, they are only about $130 and there are some other fun games; Elite Beat Agents and Big Brain Academy.

As others have mentioned, you cannot play DS games on the Wii. However, a version of the game will be released on the Wii this year. There is no definitive release date for it yet; all I've heard thus far is Spring 2007.

Right now, you can't play DS games on the Wii, and I don't think you ever can. I think you'll need the DS if you want to play DS games, even on a Wii. Remember how you needed the GBA if you wanted to play GBA games on the GC?
