My little sister just got a bleedin' ant farm kit and is now pestering me to go and get some ants to start it with. Where do the little buggers dwell in wet weather then?

In shop doorways in cardboard boxes? Can't you just get her some chocolate covered ants from Harrods and stick them in! Tel ll her they're hibernating, then when the warmer weather comes...replace them with the real thing!
