my wife has issues with being primary account and she only plays games etc. i am the one who works the computer assignments . how do i become primary account also l

I surmise you're talking about your PC and Windows XP?

If so, create a new account for your wife. Then, if she won't feel insulted, change or create a password on the primary. That way, she can have limited access to only those resources to which she feels comfortable and you'll have full rights.

I did that on my Windows NT system when my kids were younger. Only I had full Administrator rights.

Your wife has issues with you being the primary account? You can create different accounts or screen names with your own password. You both can have control of your own accounts. Is she hiding something from you? You might take that into consideration.

What's the difference as long as all accounts have full authority.

You can become another user on the pc and have your own usage part of it and you do not have to be the main one to do this.
