if you do, why?

What is love? Is it your heart leaping at the thought of seeing them? What is falling out of love? Is it being upset over hair in the plug hole or the fact that resent the fact that your other half does nothing in return for you doing everything for them?

I think its all relative really. I asked myself the following questions when I asked my boyfriend of seven years to leave our home.

Do I respect him? Yes. Does he respect me? He doesn't do the dishes enough.
Are we just good friends? Yes, who share a bed.
Is the physical side of our relationship good? What? I can't remember!

When I looked at my answers, I made him leave.

Four months later I realised, we haven't fallen out of love - we'd just become too comfortable with each other. Now we live separately, go on dates with each other once a week and are taking steps to rebuild our relationship. We are lucky to be young enough and not have any children yet.

Just ask yourself if its the person or the situation you find yourself in. If its the situation, change something - ifs its the person, ask yourself what attracted you to them in the first place.

No.

Why pretend? Whats the point? Why hurt and keep hurting yourself and your partner?

You get together with someone because you want to be with them, you want to spend all your time together...because of love.

How do you know there's not somebody out there waiting for you out there?...the perfect partner. Someone who will match your personality perfectly and love you just as much as you love them.

How would you feel if you were with someone you loved so much but you knew that they didn't love you back the same? It's trtragic, but it happens. You're the only one who can do something about it to make life for you and your partner better. Yes, at first it's going to be exceedingly hard and painful, but think of the longterm.

Sorry if some of this sounds like a fairytale....but it might not be.

Good luck.
x

I would have to say no. It is not healthy for either of you. If children are involved that makes things more difficult but for everyones sakes it is best to part ways. If you do not love your partner anymore why are you staying. If you are afraid of hurting there feeling, it is best to be honest with them and let everyone move on with their life.

No if you dont love them then there is no point in staying with them... or if u dont have any feelings for them....i would tell ur partner that u dont have feelings for them and i would let them down softly.

If you like the person as a good friend. and get along with them yea I would stay with them. But if you don't I will move out get yourself a better life that you will be happy with and don't look back at your old life. move on.

no, you owe it to them and to yourself to be honest. you are only denying yourself and possibly your current partener a chance at true happyness by stayin in this kind of relationship.
