My outlaws all live on the same road:
Mother in law

Sister in law
brother in law
Brother in law
sister in law
grand mother in law
exteded aunts, uncles, cousins etc etc
houses and houses of them
My family :
Mom is 30 min away but I see her often, very active senior
oldest Brother: 45 min. away
me
next brother 1500 miles away
next brother 55 min away maybe more
next brother 30 min away

I live within 10 minutes to 2 of my sisters. My parents, Grandparents and my oldest sister lives 2 1/2 hours away.

I am about a ten minute drive from my sister, but my dad lives in Thailand and my mum lives about 260 miles away in Milton Keynes. My in laws are about 220 miles away in Slough (still too near for my liking!!). On a serious note, I do wish they all lived closer as my son is missing out on his grandparents.

Yes, a few miles. Used to live 3 hours away. Pros and cons to both but prefer to be near.

My family a 2hr drive away. Mother in law 30 mins away and father in law 5 seconds across the road but we haven't seen him since August 2005!!!!!!

Yes, close enough. My family is 40 minutes to the east and my husband's family is 40 minutes to the west.

yes, about a ten minute walk away, i live on a big estate in my town, and my parents although divorced live with their now new husband and wife and other siblings on another big estate, my daughter goes to school on that one too, so i see them everyday! i dont mind though, we get along well, otherwise id move to the moon, im one of 6 so if we didnt get along, chances are id be mad everyday when i bumped into them lol

My family live within 5 miles of me and once a week they all come up to my house for tea and a get together.
