cuz i saw the anime and now im reading the manga but i dont know if they are both the same. if they are, what's the point of reading?

To be honest manga is better than the anime. But one thing for sure is that the manga continues beyond the last episode of the anime. You can read from vol 6 I guess.

like you, i read the anime, and i'm reading the manga. the manga continues the story but in some ways has minor plot or story differences. if you really like the anime and since it isn't going to have another season (which is what i've heard) you can read the manga and get the rest of the story.

Nope, only a little, I read the manga and watched anime and there's a lot of parts where there's differences. I personally like the anime better because the characters look better...

The point in reading is the manga definitely goes further than the anime does I would continue to keep reading it.You will find it is more in depth.

the manga contains more content than the anime story - and also goes beyond the anime's story if you decide to read it,

they're not really the same
