Married for two years and last year my wife went overseas four months to where she used to live in Europe. When she returned she was very distant with me and I just asked her a straight out question if she has been seeing anyone while away. She denies it but when I asked she blinked. You think it may well be a good indication she is hiding something?

Ok, you got slammed by the blink thing enough, you know? She isnt talking and acting indifferent after a leave from you. Im sorry but if you feel something is wrong, most times than not, your feelings are right on target. SORRY you dont have to be counselor to know that one, just been through it, married or not. Take the time to approch this right and see if she will talk and let you know what is going on. You both have to decide if this is something that is important to you, many people have made a marriage work after infidality, many havent. I hope that you both can start to communicate and find out what is happening for both your sake.

I honestly can't believe that simply because she blinked that you should take anything away from that; however, the fact that she is rather distant is a good sign that something happened while she was away. Trust is a very important factor in your realtionship, the fact that you have to ask this question should lead you directly to you answer.

ok let me get this straight....You suspect because she....blinked? I don't know about you but I do blink on a regular basis, about 15 times a minute. Maybe you just caught her in a blink? If she had something to hide she would have acted like it and I mean other than just performing an involuntary bodily function like blinking. Looking to the left or swallowing hard, maybe even stubling over words....but I would not take blinking to heart...seriously.

The best advice i can give you is do you trust your wife?If yes why the doubts.why the disbelief.It might be something totally different! Why did she go over seas?Yes she used to live there but is there another reason?Has she been sick?Do you know her doctor?I am not trying to alarm you but there could be a real big problem here!Did she go over seas to see another doctor?By the way!do you really expect her to say why yes i am having an affair!Get real!You need to give her some sp[ace!maybe she is searching for a way to talk about it!Dont ask stupid questions!If the answer is no!You dont trust your wife!Has something happened to make you not trust her that you KNOW OF! If that's really all there is to the problem, she might want to easily be insecure. What are her previous relationships like? Did they end badly. Did her mothers and fathers'? there will be belongings you're declaring or doing to provide her the impact that she is unimportant, replaceable or merely average no longer major. lower back, i do not recognize the finished volume of your relationship. there is continuously your area, her area, and then, for sure, the authentic tale. i'm no longer insinuating that you're mendacity, merely that there will be a lot extra occurring right here. having stated that, my mothers and fathers were married for over 30 years. My dad is loving and dedicated. My mom is questionable. She continuously accuses him of dishonest. So perhaps she is merely really insecure. or perchance, and that i hate to plant this seed, in certain circumstances she who protests the loudest.....

A blink by itself means nothing.....you can't base your marriage on a blink.
Talk to her....maybe she's acting distant because she realizes how much she misses living in Europe.

she blinked are you kidding its what people do they blink. if other then you saw her blink i would say she is distant because i was difficult to leave her home place and then its difficult to get back to your regular day to day thing and you have been apart for 4 months give her time then if she doesn't get back to the way she was you can look at her and ask her again then check her reaction

Only married 2 years and she went away for 4 months. Well if I was married I would never leave him for that long.Come right out and ask her all you want to know.Tell her that you really want the truth.Good luck

are you for real? she blinked, so she is lying and hiding something from you? you must hide things from people you deal with all day long. we all blink, it's an involuntary response. did you ever learn about that in middle school health class?
did you ever think that maybe she is homesick and misses where she live, all of her friends, sights, and feelings? get real, if you don't trust her, you don't trust her, but don't blame it on one blink.

Dude, if you don't trust her than it doesn't matter what she tells you, you won't believe her. Jealousy obsessively searches for clues to prove itself valid. Even if they aren't there, jealousy will make-up things to call clues.
The fact is she may have, or she may not have. You can chose to believe what you want. The point is she came home to you. That alone proves where her heart lies.
