Who is Better Peyton Manning or Rex Grossman?

Question

Keep in mind that During Manning's rookie year, 9 seasons ago, he had 28 interceptions!
Grossman only had 20 interceptions in his first complete NFL season. He played only 8 games his previous 3 seasons in the league due to injury!
Rex has hardly had any experience, yet he has stepped up twice in the playoffs when he needed his team to win.

So who has the potential to be better?

Right now Manning is clearly the dominant quarterback. Rex has not only shown himself to be injury prone (three seasons only eight games played) but also to be wildly inconsistent. I think he also currently lacks the understanding of the game that Manning has. This may develop with experience and Grossman may well turn out to be a fairly good quarterback, but with such an injury prone player, I doubt he will ever develop to the level that Manning is at.

Though it pains me to say this Peyton Manning is the more consistent QB but when Grossman is on he is one of the best. However both of them can play really badly too, though Grossman tends to play worse more than Peyton. Either way I hate Peyton Manning but I will give him credit for being the most consistent QB in this Super Bowl. I still hope the good Grossman comes to play and the Bears cream the Colts!!

Manning has realized his potential. He is probably the best QB in the game at this point. Tom Brady has always been a better big game player, but after the AFC Championship, Manning proved again that he is the best. Grossman, on the other hand, is still waiting to realize his. The way he plays in the Super Bowl will probably determine if he is still the starter in Chicago next year.

Keep in mind, this is coming from a Bears fan. In no way does Rex Grossman compare with Peyton Manning. Peyton is a student of the game and his preparation shows. Rex has a long way to go mentally, but even then he does not have the physical tools that Peyton does.

Look, Grossman is a rookie and he does have a great team in front of him. Maybe he will become a great QB in the future. But right now, its a silly question. The answer TODAY is Payton Manning which you will see very clearly on the 4th of February......

peyton manning is clearly better, grossman finally won 2 games in a row and he was inside the 5 yard line 2 times and he couldnt even get it to 2 wide oprn players for an easy TD, grossman sucks and peyton is way better... BIG BEN RULES

This is a really obvious answer. Manning!! Grossman is a horrible QB as are ALL University of Florida QBs. Without that D and running game he'd be out of the NFL.

You got to give it to Peyton! Rex? Please. This is the same guy who tried to call 2 time-outs in a row. He doesn't even know the rules of his profession. Manning studies this game. He lives, breathes, sh*ts it. Manning is better by far. Finally, he's made it to the Big Game and will finally get a ring for his finger!
I'm routing for the Colts!!!!

is that even a valid question...of course Manning...its Manning's year to win the Super Bowl...and keep in mind Manning has NEVER had a QB rating of ZERO..Manning is actually consistent ok..and not like Rex who chooses his days to be good...Manning gives alll in EVERY game not just one or two like grossman...haha...i laugh in his face (grossman) and watch the Miami sun burn his asz along with Manning and the Colts( Manning and Co.)
