Recently it's been called Andropause, but "midlife crisis" is the more common term. It's when a guy in his 40s or a bit older decides he is irresistable to women half his age. He acquires a sports car, lusts after his daughter's friends, and generally makes an idiot of himself. Most men come out of it okay, except the ones who actually divorce their longtime wives to take up with a bimbo who wants a sugar daddy. Fortunately many men do not experience this. Equally fortunately, most wives willingly take the old man back once he gets over it and starts acting like an adult again.

Physiologically...NO. Psychologically.....YES.
Most men go through a "male-menopause" sometime during their 50's. They start buying sports cars and acting foolish like young men. It goes away just about the time they get divorced!!

Yes, its called manopause. It occurs when you retire after you have been used to power and making big money. It results in listlessness, depression and flashbacks to the 'good old days'. It may also manifest in needing to take a little blue pill to put a 'little snap in the bat". But, hey, we only have one life to live so this is it.
