I was on jury service, and all the main witness was concerned about was the fact that he was talking to the 'store detective' central to the case.
They obviously had history, but he kept going off subject JUST to confirm he was ONLY talking to her, nothing else.
I got a fit of the giggles, ending in a warning from the judge that I would be in contempt of court if I continued. Which of course, only made it worse.
A day I'll never forget as long as I live.
I'm starting again now just picturing the poor bloke in his desperation.

When I was in hospital last week an old chap in the next bed was having severe breathing difficulties. It wasn't funny - the guy was in real difficulties.
The nurse said she couldn't find an oxygen cylinder needed to administer some therapy needed for it, and I remembered an old joke which was to offer her my phone and say try this its O2.
Not funny in the circumstances but I still had to stifle a giggle.
I'm a bad boy.

When my PGCE tutor thanked my 'mentor' for all the help that she'd given me! What a laugh! My 'mentor' was a real moo and left the mentoring to another colleague. However, I had to stifle my laughter because neither my mentor nor my pGCE tutor would have understood the joke!

I was in a shop and this severely disabled guy kept making funny noises, grunts and raspberries and the like. I knew I shouldn't but I found it hilarious and the more I tried to hold it in the worse it got, I had to walk out in the end before i burst.

Well, I'm not sure about the last time, but there was one awful event that stays with me...
I went, with my parents, to see a music teacher in my school, and he had a nervous twitch in his eye. Unfortunately, when he got nervous, it exacerbated the twitch, and just looking at him was SO funny, even though I knew I absolutely shouldn't laugh. It just got worse, because I was so obviously trying not to laugh at him. I bit my lip and dug my nails into my hands, but I couldn't stop, and I was just sitting there, shaking with restrained laughter!
Everyone knew, and my mum told me to stop, but I couldn't. I asked to go outside, but they wouldn't let me... my dad was asking loads of questions, really positively, but when we got outside, he said he'd only done that to stop himself from laughing!
Ahh... I felt so sorry for the poor man afterwards.

I do it so often that it's disturbing. I don't know why I sometimes laugh inappropriately. But wait a minute, could it be that the people around me don't have a sense of humor?

Watching a movie on Saturday, the scene was so graphic and horrible, that I was disgusted.
I reacted by cacking myself laughing, and struggling to hold it in. It was terrible!
