we've spent maybe $100 so far and he's really all set for spring and summer -- if the weather would cooperate. about 10-12 teeshirts and polos from old navy that were $3-$4 each new 5 pairs of shorts from kohls that were $2 each a pair of overall shorts for $10 2 dozen socks - $10 on sale at tj maxx (super good find) no new jeans because he still fits into the ones from the winter and I won't buy those until he outgrows the old ones he's still in onesies, which he sleeps in - last year at the gap they had a sale on these little shorts sweatpants so I bought a bunch of those for bottoms... no specific summer jammies, though I'm sure I'll get them when they come out... last year I got a pair of swim trunks and rashguard shirt on clearance for swimming this year...aaaand I still need to get him a pair of sandals. he got a spring coat for his birthday. he needs sweatshirts though. I'm sure I'll buy more when more things come out and the old spring stuff goes on sale. there's also a huge consignment event in the spring that I look forward to and I might spend another $50 or so on whatever I see that I like. summer is so much cheaper than the winter with the boots and snowsuits and hats and mittens.. I easily spent an extra $100 on that stuff last season. I think you did good for $500-$600 for the whole year.
