I want to get my naval/belly button pierced but my mom wont let me! I don't get why she won't b/c she let me get my nose pierced but just won't. How can I pierce my belly button? Please help cause my friend is over right now and she says she can because she thinks that is fun *strange I know* but I trust her so How do we start?

Wow. Please girls don't do this, it would be really easy to get an infection which could be very serious, even fatal. Honestly, I'm not being dramatic. I know its frustrating when you're prevented from doing what you want but you would likely end up with a big ugly infection on your tummy, you would regret it.

You really shouldn't consider getting your belly button pierced by your friend. You're just asking for a ton of things to go wrong. If your mom won't let you do it, the best thing for you to do is wait until you're 18. Then you won't need your mom's permission. And it is pretty weird that she would allow you to get your nose pierced but not your naval. My parents were fine with me getting my navel done 'cause they knew I wouldn't be showing it off to the whole world. Seriously, don't make a dumb choice and have your friend or yourself, or anyone who isn't licensed pierce it. That area is so easy to get infected and a lot can go wrong. Is it really worth it to not wait??

I would recommend not doing it. I know from the experience of friends that bellybutton piercings can be very painful, even when being done in a professional environment. Also you run a VERY high risk of getting an infection. I understand that you think it would look hot, but how cute do you think you'll look when you get infected and its swollen and it hurts to even wear a shirt over it and pus is dripping out? Or when you have to take the ring out because of the infection and the hole is so messed up when it finally heals it leaves a nasty scar. Wait until you;re old enough to get it done preofessioanlly!

do not pierce your belly button!!! first of all, you're only 13 and you really don't need to have your belly button pierced. second of all, you are pretty much GUARANTEED to get an infection. the risk of getting a horrible infection is high enough if you get it done by a professional, and you're increasing that risk by attempting to do it at home. why bother trying to pierce your belly button at home when you're most likely going to get a painful infection and end up taking it out anyway?

DONT!! Go and get it done professionally. My friend pierced her belly button and she had to let the hole that she made in her naval close up before she could go and get it professionally done. Another friend of mine had to go and get a belly button ring surgically removed because she peirced it too close and couldnt get it back out! My suggestion to you would be go to a professional!

I don't know much about it but you should numb it first with ice and get something nice and pointy and WASH IT ALOT, you don't want something dirty stiking into your belly button. Thats the most I can help you with
but you realy shouldnt do this urself. just go to the mall when yur mom aint with you and get it pierced. alot safer that way

my sister pierced her own with a safety pin. she said it took her three hours to get it through. it also was not a clean piercing because when you get it done professionally they use a hollow needle to take away the needed skin so since she didnt use one of those she had like bumps of tissue around the piercing. also, my mom made her take it out so she has a weird scar. i'd really just wait until you can take yourself to get it done professionally.

girl listen to your mom cuz if you pierce it she will notice i got my belly button pierced without my mom knowing she saw it and made me take it out and trust me is is SOOOOOOO ugly when the ring is out!!!!!

Don't do it, that's even worse than doing your ears yourself. There are major veins right there that if you pucture, you'll be in trouble. I know it sucks, but listen to your Mom. You'll have plenty of time to make horrible desicions for yourself when you get older...

i got my nose and belly done by professionals and i wouldnt do it myself but if ur up to it numb your nose with ice heat the tip of the needle position it and shove it through
