what do you need to know? she was Dutch and hid in the attic of her father's office (a canning factory where they make jams) that was on a street that had homes and shops-not a factory like you would imagine here. She had an older sister Margot, they hid with another family, the Van Dams (sp?) and another gentleman, a dentist. They hid for i think 3 years. Anne wrote in her diary that she got as a birthday present. She hated her mother because her mother favored her sister and disliked anne. She was very close with her father, but not very close with her sister, until the end of the war. two of her father's emploees would go into the annex and bring them food and things. they could only use the toilet and shower at certain hours of the day when they knew no one was downstairs working. the only person that survived was anne's father. anne, her sister and her mother all died in concentration camps. the van dammes had a son, peter that anne had a small fling with. the dentist was a little pervy...making ann take off her shirt to "examine" her. I hope this info helps..

Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank (June 12, 1929 – February/March, 1945) was a European Jewish girl who wrote a diary while in hiding with her family and four friends in Amsterdam during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. Anne was born in Frankfurt, Germany, but her family moved to Amsterdam in 1933, after the Nazis gained power in Germany. However, she and her family were trapped when the Nazi occupation extended into The Netherlands. As persecutions against the Jewish population increased, the family went into hiding in July 1942 in hidden rooms in her father Otto Frank's office building. After two years in hiding the group was betrayed and transported to concentration camps. Seven months after her arrest, Anne died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp within days of her sister, Margot Frank. Her father, Otto, the only survivor of the group, returned to Amsterdam after the war ended, to find that her diary had been saved. Convinced that it was a unique record, he took action to have it published. It was published originally in Dutch under the name Het Achterhuis: Dagboekbrieven van 12 Juni 1942 – 1 Augustus 1944 (The Backhouse: Diary notes from 12 June 1942 – 1 August 1944).
The diary, which was given to Anne Frank on her thirteenth birthday, chronicles her life from June 12, 1942 until August 1, 1944. It was eventually translated from its original Dutch into many languages and became one of the world's most widely read books. There have also been several film, television, and theatrical productions, and even an opera, based on the diary. Described as the work of a mature and insightful mind, it provides an intimate examination of daily life under Nazi occupation and in hiding; through her writing, Anne Frank has become one of the most renowned and discussed of Holocaust victims.

she was a jewish girl who went into hiding with her family, in holland, aided by a gentile woman with her heart in the right place, in order to avoid be captured by the nazis. the family was discovered and sent to a concentration camp, where she died. astrologically, she was a gemini with moon in leo. thus, presumably, she was probably extremely creative, chatty, funny and freedom loving. being cooped up as she was for so long must have been an amazing test for her self discipline. many very worthwhile humans were butchered by the terminally mediocre, and psychopathic in those sad days. but, then, those types need that feeling of "power" over others, especially those who were more intelligent and more talented, than they. it gives them that sense of importance they certainly don't merit. may they rot in hell for eternity;-)

How about you do some work? If you care about your grades then you have to put the effort in to get them - they're not going to get themselves. If you can't be bothered then you don't deserve to get a good mark.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_frank try reading that for a start.
