On rare occasion I read a letter from someone who is intelligent and knows what he/she is talking about. However, it is rare. I really relish these rare replies because they are usually informative and I keep them in a file. Too bad that most of the replies are from young people who have a great deal of growing up and educating to do.

not that great compared to other boards
most of the responses lack thought, imagination, or even understanding a person's feeling. It's become too much of idiots and provocative morons who just want to push their own thoughts without any consideration or etiquette.
The problem I guess is because Yahoo is very popular, so it attracts a very wide range of people, but unfortunately there are no clearly defined manners or rules that are being enforced for any normal user to follow (as a consequence of it's sheer size)

i think that if you recive a sincere and honest answer that comes from someones heart and is very careing,it is so sad now and days alot of people dont care and are very rude and mean and they seem to look the other way,and be as mean as they can be,and it is so sad too see what we can do to one another and just look the other way,with no care. we need to show more compassion and love to on another, if we all try maybe then this world just might change alittle. and we can help each other.

I got very good advice in the computers and networking section once. But Polls & Surveys is not where I go for advice...it's more for fun and a quick >snerk< at something.

Some categories have very good advice & others...not so much. Usually, there are diamonds in the rough though & it's a fun place to laugh and learn.

this yahoo answers are very helpful to people who want to know how things work and jus know about the things. A nd trust me it is very helpful.

I have gotten some great advice for my questions, and also some not so great. If you have a very serious question it's best not to take YA as gospel.

Depending on the question I think most people try to give good answers..If you think its good advise you take it just like any thing else there is always good & bad

Take anything with a big honking grain of salt!! Some answers are ok, others are just funny, and others are really helpful....choose carefully though...lol
