Way ta go, dipstick.

Next time, there's that cap on top of the valve cover that allows you to pour it in.

You didn't hurt anything, just your immediate ability to accurately measure the oil level, because for a while the whole stick will get wet.

Checked the oil, bone dry.. bought a gallon, filled it returned up.. interior of right here few days it extremely is empty returned.. This time, I fill it up, verify the point that night when I have been given living house -- BONE DRY. on the instant, further it to the area that fastened the lifters, they regarded at me like i'm a moron whilst they see the dipstick is dry.. So, he provides a a million/2 qrt. And tests returned -- My dipstick went from bone dry to finished in below a a million/2 of bottle.. My suggestion-- make helpful the dipstick would not supply subject whilst your pushing it in in any different case it won't supply a reading

How the hell did you get it in that little hole? Really, it must have taken forever? It goes to the same place as using the fill tube but really, I have never heard that one before. Probably the worst that can happen is the oil you spilled trying to fill it there will eventually hit the exhaust manifold and smoke and stink like hell till it burns off.

lol, dont worry about it, all leads to the same place, they was just making it easier such as a wider opening instead of trying to get oil into a narrow tube and have to remove the dipstick everytime you do it. well just pay attention next time. lol

Is it engine oil or transmission oil because if its engine oil no harm it just takes a long time to go down the small tube, If its transmission then thats where most cars are supposed to be filled.

Your car is going to blow up. Sorry, just had to get that out of the way. Ok, I would recommend putting it in where the car designed it to go. They have it like that for a reason. If you need more info, ask your local maintenance location for suggestions. Also, your car's manual will tell you.

Not bad at all, they both go to the exact same place. It must have taken you all day to get it in that little bitty hole though.
