Personally I think he's a very positive gay character. He's partnered and has a good job. He seems nice and caring. My only concern is that the writers don't give him enough camera time. I'm really falling in love with the show. It reminds me of "Friends."

I've never seen The Class so I can't be sure of what you're talking about, but if this guy is really doing well for himself, I don't see any particular reason to give him more screen time than he needs. Too much screen time on the minority when it doesn't serve the story is often a move by the network to make things more PC. TV audiences can smell whenever a network does something just for the sake of being PC, and it's a smell they don't like. If you think he's a good representation of the gay community, good for him. :) Let's just see him when he needs to be seen.

I agree with you. There is another character that they don't give too much time to also. She is the mother with the daughter named Oprah. Maybe because the sitcom is so new, they haven't been able to hook them all together all the time.
