There's no atmosphere on the moon, so there's no wind. The dust would only move if some force came along and picked it up off the ground, but since there's no atmosphere, there's nothing to pick up the dust. The moon has about 1/6 the gravity as the earth. This makes everything weigh less there, but it's still plenty enough to keep dust on the ground.

Incidentally, there are frequently very large windstorms on Mars, which has a thin atmosphere.

There is a force of gravity on the moon though not as strong as that on earth, approximately 1/6th the strength.

This gravity pulls everything on the moon to it but unlike on earth where gravity is stronger it takes less force to push something away from the surface so when a man jumps on the moon it takes longer to fall back to the ground, you can throw a ball further before it is pulled down too.

There is no wind to blow the sand due to there being no atmposphere on the moon to create weather systems.

Actually it is like asking why sand and water do not fly off from the earth as it spins in its axis and in its orbit.

Things are held down by GRAVITY, same as on the moon as on the earth. The force of gravity differs, though, from one planet to another, from one heavenly body to another. Gravity pools everything toward the center of the moon, or of the earth, or of any other planet or star.

That is the reason you do not see sand flying off from the surface of the earth (or of the moon, for that matter).

because gravity of sand and gravity of moon are same so it does not fly on moon and sand is not hollow

man has 6th sense. He can act as he wish.He can walk, run etc., as manually he can. But not sand. It has only one sense. Only others or other forces should do to move or fly

Not much of an atmosphere + no to much wind = no sand blowing around

because there is no air in moon.
