I hear ya...im a bills fan, and it sucked to see us play dallas in a dome for the superbowl twice. we are used to playing outside in the snow and dallas plays in a dome.....and the superbowl is in a dome?? i think we could of taken dallas in one of the superbowls if it was outside in the snow.

There was a time when having a dome was "cool" and many teams like New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Minnesota chose to build one. Domes can give a homefield advantage if a team is used to playing on that consistent surface. Dome turf also happens to allow better offensive production as it is not weather dependent.
As a Minnesota fan, having our dome is a huge homefield advantage, but gives us a significant disadvantage on the road. I would rather they play outside, it would give us a much better chance against Green Bay or Chicago when we inevitably have to play there in the cold of winter.

There is actually no difference but it's in peoples heads that there is just because one day someone took a statistic and started making a big deal out of it. The domes are built for the comfort of the spectators.

FOOTBALL IS FOR OUTDOORS LIKE SOLDIERS FIELD AND SHOULD BE PLAYED ON REAL GRASS. DOMED FIELDS ARE GREAT FOR BASEBALL.THE ELEMENTS ARE PART OF FOOTBALL.YOU COULD ASK THE SAME QUES. TO RUGBY PLAYERS. RAIN ,SLEET, SNOW, SUNSHINE AND WIND MAKES A GAME MORE EXCITING.SLIPPING ,SLIDING AND MUD ALL OVER A UNIFORM MAKES THE GAME EVEN MORE EXCITING.
