What does "Puñeta" mean?

My husband says it all the time ever since he met his puerto rican friend. I ask him and he doesnt even know and now the "whole family says it!" Everytime he's mad or even happy he says "Puñeta!!!!".... Even when some of them say hi to each other they say "whatsup Puñeta".....??? Plz give me all definitions. looked up it means something like "male mast-urbation" but how is that relevant when your saying it in a sentence???

lol this is funny...okay my husband is puertorican and he says that all the time too...i dont speak spanish but he does i know he's told me what it meant before but i forget if it means f*** or b**** i know its a curse word though thats for sure.

It certainly means what you've said, put in the Puerto Rican’s slang it have different meanings, when he is angry it could be something like She…, or happy like F… Good, in fact it could have so many meanings like the F world, all of them bad ones.
