I'd consider you one, yes. The baby boomers are from the '50s, when there was ALOT of babies born.

It's really debatable. There are no accepted years ranges for the Baby Boom. It lasted a VERY long time is really all we can say; starting right after World War II and into the late 50's to possibly the early 60's. But there were a few mini-booms during that time as well.
The problem is that most people born in the late 50's to early 60's don't really identify themselves with the war "boomers" (those born in the years following the second world war).
I mean we're talking about anyone between the ages of 40 and 60. So, that's a huge range with all sorts of differences.

Generally 1946 to 1959. The boom started with GI's returning from World War II, and then people immediately started having families, and continued until the late 1950's.

the baby boom began in 1946 and ended at the end of 1964. the SSA puts the end at Oct 1st, 1964. those born after that date are not entitled to social security retirement benefits. I was born in '56 too.
