i don't listen to the media, i just want to see what most ppl on here think. i love AFI and nothing could ever change my gratitude tward the band. Davey's voice just sounds a little fem and he wears alot of eye make up, not just black eyeliner.

CombatCan.. whatever the rest of ur name is, i haven't known AFI forever!!! i listened to their music and then i listened to Davey's voice and i found it a little fem!! i am only 13 and then i started to get into AFI. i had never heard of them before. so you better think before u answer jerk. and i read that post from an answer above you. i had my answer right there. XP

Dude, he is not gay....Jade has said so OVER AND OVER that he isn't this question has been ASKED over and over....you should have saved the 5 points and looked in the resolved questions section. It has been said on the OFFICIAL Despair Faction (AFI's official fan club messageboard) that he isn't.

No, the drummer is not gay and Davey is not also. This question's been asked so many times. Jade has said so many times that Davey is not gay. Davey is (or was) dating a model named Ivy Levan.

why is everyone asking this question, for the last time Davey Havok and the band is not gay. he doesn't sound like a gay guy what so ever, how many times do they have to say that their not, you can believe what ever you think, but i'm saying their not.

He is bisexual. But recently has seemed to be more and more feminine then before they struck mainstream. The band has taken much flak for this. People have said that the name- AFI- stands for "A fag inside" and other hateful things which is rediculous and iggnorant. AFI actually stands for "a fire inside" FYI

He is bi according to an interview he had, and his drummer is gay. This could just be a false statement that was misquoted and put on the web though. But it doesn't really matter what his sexual orientation is. They are still damn good.
