You're basically looking for something that is colorless, odorless and has temporary yet very unpleasant side effects.

Recommendations include a phosphate laxative (full bottle, buy at wal-mart). If you consume 3oz, you will **** yourself by the time you get to the bathroom. I recommend unflavored, or mint (as in mint julep if it is bourbon).

On the other end of the spectrum, epicack (spelling?) works nicely as well. one tsp makes you vomit almost instantly (assuming you have the gag reflex).

Other things i've tried that work are food dye (not as effective as the first two but still funny). But this only works for mixed or premixed drinks. I prefer the blue dye for optimal results. This doesn't work for bourbons or whiskies.

Piss works but has a very noticable smell and color. Even if you get past the pissy color and make it look like bourbon or vodka (fillter piss through activated charcoal to remove color), you still have to deal with the smell.

Other things you could do include buying the cheaper alcohol and insisting on payment. For instance, i buy a 5th of KG for $6. Then charge anyone $1/shot. Nice profit. Its not a good or high dollar bourbon but it does the trick.

Take all the bottles away except one ... like one person said . . . piss in the bottle, add a bit of tea to give it the right color. That ought to cure him.

it had been said, put urine in its place or mix some laxatives in them. that will teach him a lesson and you cant be blame. and if he does . . . put it to him!

two words: "Tabbasco sauce" it wont make you sick but it will turn you off your drink!
