Bullying or Racism?

Both, in all of the series so far, including the latest.

Definitely a case of bullying in fact I don't even think its that bad, we all know Jade is a half-witted loud mouth but this is certainly NOT racism, I actually feel sorry for Jade right now, Shilpa has forgiven her and if she says it's not racism then what is with the outcry.

Jade should feel disgusted and needs to take a long look at herself but I think the media should get off her back.

Lol: My spell-checker wants to change Shilpa to Sheila.....is it racist??? NO godamn it.

Bullying, but using race as the key difference on which to focus the energy to isolate the individual. Bullies focus on a key difference because they feel threatened that the other individual is a more accomplished/popular/smarter person etc. And are fearful that they will lose their Friends/influence and become the one who is isolated.
On the other scale they abuse a weaker person in order to create credibility by doing something mean and shocking which is seen as 'daring' by the group because it is a 'known' unacceptable.

Only racism i saw and heard was from Germaine [ Mr Innocent] calling them White trash. Strange how that is being ignored. But then again it is always the poor underdog who gets kicked in the teeth and yessssss, yesssss, yesssss i am a bleeding heart.:)

Normal Human Behaviour

To be fair the whole Jade debacle was blown up through deliberate 'ratings chasing' editing - which got out of hand - to the ultimate delight of the makers who turned a lack lustre programme into a massive ratings success...Albeit at the 'supposed' cost of 'reviewing the future' of such programmes...BUT... According to ratings success the only outcome is likely to be not 'no more BB' but twice as much ...'ka ching'!!!

Jade Goody - having being exploited for her lack of intellect in the first series she appeared in - and thereby having subsequently 'made a million' due to the perverse 'addiction' to celebrity in this country (and other similarly dire cultures) has now be hoist by her/BB's own petard -

In fact she ONLY acted like any ordinary, working class, somewhat intellectually challenged and now rather 'spoilt kid' (post acquistion of mucho dollares)...young woman might do...in the heightened 'stress' situation of being cooped up with a bunch of other folks who have been convinved of their own self importance.

The fact that both Jade and Shilpa made it clear that they had not really perceived what had gone on as being deliberately racist or bullying - is evidence that THEY do not see it like we have been 'led' to see it - because we only see the snippets of heightened emotion in a day...NOT in the context of 24hours.

What a load of OLD PANTS! For this tosh to become 'International' news, and discussed in Parliament...when ther is actually some TRULY important stuff going on in the world is dire testimony to the state of today's 'dumbed down' western culture!

Although one has to feel sorry for Jade to some extent - as she cannot help but be 'real', she's not clever enough to be otherwise -- At the same time in light of the fact that I have worked my butt off for 35 years and never made a part of a million - and she made it in 2 years for basically being thick! I cannot feel THAT sorry for her!

agree with nmd elkie, both ! goody was a nobody b4 bb. as shilpa said this programme made her a" celebrity".at least shilpa had done something b4 the show which warrented her inclusion, but goody ? having said that , why shilpa put herself thru this type of show is another matter ?
