There are some new songs included in the movie: The Sweetest Sounds (duet), Falling in Love with Love (Bernadette Peters), There's Music In You (Whitney).

Oh and here's the site where you can find the full libretto (lyrics and script):

If you really want to get a head start:

You can buy the DVD and soundtrack of the Disney movie starring Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Victor Garber, Paolo Montalban, Bernadette Peters and Whitney Houston from Amazon. I loved the movie. And I really like the Prince (Paolo Montalban). Great voice.

hope this helps

Have fun! Break a leg!

Most of the songs are in the version of the show that your school would be doing so looking up "Cinderella" lyrics by Rodgers and Hammerstein is a good answer. However, there are some songs in the Brandy version that aren't in the play (The Sweetest Sound and Falling in Love with Love) so don't be confused. :) Some of the song names are "In my Own Little Corner" (Cinderella's solo), "Impossible" ( a duet between Cinderella and The Godmother), "The Stepsister's Lament", "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?" and "Ten Minutes Ago" (duets of the Prince and Cinderella), "A Lovely Night" (Cinderella, step sisters and step mother), "The Prince is Giving A Ball" (the opening chorus number) and there's a couple songs sung by the queen, the king, the cook ( I think) and an optional solo for the prince.

Your school will be doing the version available from the Rodgers & Hammerstein Library. I don't know how much (if any) Disney was allowed to change it when they did Brandy's remake, but I would suggest that you get hold of an older version soundtrack or DVD (preferably the one with Julie Andrews) since that will be the most faithful to what your school will be producing.

search it on the Internet. I'm not sure which song that version has. so my best advice is search it on the Internet and then possible buy the sound track. Good Luck and have fun!
