We were trying to have a baby, and my wife became a nazi on taking tests over and over. How many justifies too many?

She should take ONE when her period is late. Those things cost money.

Well... when you are trying, you take a LOT of tests. I had roughly 250 + tests that I took over the last 7 months while me and my husband were trying. Yeah, it's alot, but as long as you can afford it, don't give her a hard time about it ;) .
Maybe try to talk her into ordering JUST the pregnancy test strips from an online website like testsforless.com - where you can order a pack of 25 pregnancy test strips for around $22 plus shipping. Either that, or make her buy her tests from the Dollar Tree! Can't beat that, she could but 15 - 20 tests for what you pay for a box of 3 tests that are name brand!

Your wife is probably so stressed about the issue that she's obsessed don't add to her stress by criticizing her doing just try to show her you are in this with her and do things together to get the issue of her mind. Good luck if it would help you she's not the only one going through this a lot of women who are trying do the same.

LOL! my fiance would say im obsessed, last month i took a grand total of 8 early pregnancy tests (the earliest of which suggested 5 days prior to period) and i started testing 10 days before period! good luck to you guys and im sure my man can feel your pain, it's almost time to start testing for this month!

She probably is obsessed but no one can blame her. Let her take as many tests as she feels she needs to and be supportive. Take Care and Good Luck.

I took 18. I know that is obsessive but I knew I was. I stopped taking them when the blood test said positive. Remind her that she wont get pregnant if she tries to hard. Trust me.

I would say over 5 is getting obssesed good luck to you and your wife and I agree if she becomes obsessed with it she wont get pregnant

1 should do it but she should wait until she has missed a period on the following month for some woman a pt doesn't always work so they need a blood test to detect the hormone.
