I think we should send Hillary Clinton over there.
Not as president or ambassador or even as a senator. Send her as the new Iraqi President.
All the radicals would commit suicide and we would be done with them and her. the world would be a safer place.

I would secure the borders of Iraq and allow a mass evacution. During this evacution I would detain all people and declare them friendly or hostile. Those who are hostile I would detain in a jail. Those who are friendly I would keep in a safe haven. Once the evacution is complete, I would BOMB the entire city and make it a parking lot. Then use the billions of dollars bush spin over there a year and rebuilt a new and beautiful city.

Train as many facilitators in survival, religious hostage negotiations with regards to worshipping unproven things that go against civil being, arabic language, cultures and dialects, active listenning, sympathy, empathy and affirmation skills. Send them to Iraq, paying them a paycheck of 100k per year tax free to live amongst the population. These people must not advocate any particular religion, however it would be their mission to question all religions and to seek a balance amongst the population of Iraq between functional religious beliefs that do not advocate ill will or harm against another civil human being, whether they be Christian, Muslim or Jewish or Hindu, whatever! Belief in One higher conglomeration of power that is gathered in spirit is ok.

Back out slowly apologizing the whole way.

Seriously, it is insane. I can't imagine there is a good way to do it. Right now, the Iraqis need to secure their own country so we don't have to anymore. No matter how we leave it--it's gonna be bad so we should at least leave it secure.

You would think someone would've not let it happen in the first place, ya know? Hussein or not, it wasn't our war to fight. It was up to the Iraqis to make that decision and overthrow their government, not us.

Set up three different countries, one each for the Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis. Tell Turkey, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran to go to h*ll. Set up each of the new countries with a military dictator and give each of them a billion dollars worth of military equipment. Each of them would owe us oil concessions. We would guarantee the security of each to the extent of being willing to launch a few cruise missiles now and again or drop some bombs on the offending party.

sorry to say, we need a tough guy in power like President Saddam to keep the groups ( Kurds, Sunnis, Shia ) from fighting and the militants dividing the country and turning it into another Somalia

I would make one last big attack, then tell the media we got whoever we needed, and then pull the troops back. Then monitor the situation with Satilites.

I would separate the three factions into separate states, one for Kurds (Kurdistan) one for Shiites, and one for Sunnis. I would then withdraw troops.

Simple.
