what does the government do to protect and/or promote this social goal and explain why you think this policy is beneficial, which do you think is the least importaint and what government policys promote or protect this goal?

This sounds a lot like an essay question for a Social Studies class. In any case, an economy does not necessarily have a social goal. People create economies by buying, selling and trading in different ways, but an economy a way of interacting, not a means to an end.

Personally, I think job creation is the most important part of any government's economic policy. One way governments promote job growth is by offering incentives for people to start or expand businesses. Increased business can result in more jobs being created. Some local governments also have programs that help the unemployed search for jobs.

That's B-S, an "economy" does not have social goals. Mere politicians have social goals.
