From What I see the years 2002-2007 will go down as the most wasted years ever in US political history.

Wow! my taxes are a bit lower now..... but after the Dems get their way taxes are going up up up. Repubs should have overhauled the tax code of the US. No major changes in Welfare. And Republicans everywhere are withdrawing their support for the WOT.

I completely agree.

Their bread and butter issues: welfare reform, abortion, gay marriage ban, tax cuts, War on Terror

Their results on those issues: nothing since 1996, nothing, nothing, a growing deficit and the majority of the cuts going to the upper class, increased terror recruitment and 16 Intelligence agencies say we are "less safe."

Congrats guys!

In all seriousness, it's all rhetoric with the exception of the War on Terror. That is the only place where you will see any sort of difference when it comes to actual policy.

What on Earth makes you think any Republican government has the slightest interest in social issues?

The only way that social issues are relevent to the Republicans is if those issues are somehow hurting the bottom line of big business. The Bush Government is about money... that's it, that's all.

They'll tell you everything you want to hear about gay marriage or immigration... or anything else, to get into office, but after that, it's all business.

It appears everyone in polotics are p-u-s-s-ys. Don't be political incorrect, wouldn't want to p-i-s-s of the q-u-eers so let them shove their crap down our throats but abortion? ohhh that's soo wrong. Everyone in D.C. has gone to hell along with the reasoning of the American public. The news and the empty-headed people that give it a thought to being true has gotten worse over the years. Growing b-al-ls is not fashionable today; pansis and psyco tulip gardens are the going thing now.

Hello, we as republicans are:

-Fighting a war on two fronts
-lowering taxes
-repealing the death tax
-changing the damaging welfare system

Isn't this what "fighting for what we believe in is?"
