Firstly- Punk went out in the 80's.
Secondly, you don't wear clothes to be punk, you live on the street and do heroin and turn tricks for cash... to be punk.
Watch the movie "Sid and Nancy" the story of Sid Vicious (of the punk band The Sex Pistols). Then decide if you want to be punk.
or... I guess you just want to 'look' punk.

Don't be a punk it's pathetic - if you want to be different be yourself - no one seems to do that anymore. If you want to make a statement to societym start a band or something creative like that don't wear rubbishy clothes and look disgusting becuase all you'll achieve is being irritating to people.

Punk is music, not clothes, not an attitude, not where you live or what you do. Your username makes it sound like you do listen to punk(The Misfits, right?) unless that was just random. But customize your own clothes, don't shop at big brand name stores. Tears, safety pins, black, red, green, unhemmed shirt necklines, lots of accessories and studded belts, piercings, and mismatched patterns. I hope I helped.

Hmm. Your style comes from the heart-- you don't pick one and go with it from a magazine! You see what you want and you wear it with confidence! But, if that's a look you feel suits you, try Wet Seal and Hot Topic. Amazingly fun and hip punky stores.

Like someone else said before, "punk" is dead. It was a whole lifestyle. But....if you want to get the "look", i'd suggest a whole lot of plaid, safety pins, creeper shoes, bondage pants, studs, & of course, a leather jacket.

um are you punk? don't change yourself. be who you are. but if you lead the 'punk' life then i would suggest hoodies, ripped jeans, band tees, umm vans, converse, keds.... you know the look =]

the first answer basically got it dead on. band shirts/clothes from thrift stores. checkers/stripes. tightish pants. converse.
