Ha! Try moving to a new country where you only know a handful of people that you met 20yrs ago! My first year in Ireland was hellish but I stuck it out and now I have tons of friends and even better a way cool Irish girlfriend!!

Friday night at my friend's surprise b-day party - I've been trying for years & I just don't mesh well with her family, her in-laws & some of her friends. I don't drink & drive, they were all getting drunk. It's really annoying to be the sober person. I'm almost 30, I like to catch a buzz, just not every weekend ... I know how to have a great time without alcohol ... I keep hoping at some point they will too .
