I came across "snog" in one of the books, I think. But that's British slang. It's not exclusive to Harry Potter.

Definition: Snog
a long kiss or prolonged kissing/cuddling session.
I think most of the time kissing whether its quick or not Rowling often uses Snog for the most part.

Um. If you mean British slang, then probably "snog." Or maybe "mack," but I think J.K. Rowling uses "snog" in "Harry Potter."

Or if your talking about kissing, the call it kissing and making out or cuddling is to Snog

a kiss is a kiss.
but a makeout session is snog.
can be used interchangeably i guess
btw its not the "harry potter term" the books are written in british english. so its the british slang i guess

snog--- i personally think that makes kissing seem disgusting, instead of sweet, like it should be, but that's just my opinion....
