he was trying to make a master race of blonde and blue eyed people. most jews, being of middle eastern origins, would presumably NOT be blonde or blue eyed.
Hitler also killed lots of people who weren't Jews, but the part of his plan called "the Final Solution" was, if i'm not mistaken, against Jews only. thus he killed around 6 million of them.
quote:
The Jewishness Of The Holocaust
Faithful to Hitler, the Nazis picked out and specifically targeted the Jews, and they did this from the very beginning -- the Nazi Party Program of February 19201 to the very end Hitler's Testament of April 29, 1945.2 In fact, Hitler had written a letter to a Herr Gemlich in 1919 in which he called for the removal of the Jews if he ever took power.
Exactly when Hitler's eliminationist hatred of the Jews took form in his mind is still a matter of debate. Some accounts have him violently antisemitic when he still lived in Linz.3 Others equate it to his experiences in Vienna,4or to his gassing experience at the end of World War I,5 still others believe the antisemitism took on its virulent form in the early 1920s under the influence of Houston Stewart Chamberlain6 and Dietrich Eckart.7
In Mein Kampf, there are dozens of passages that vilify and demonize the Jews. A couple of examples suffice:
Was there any excrement, any shamelessness in any form, above all in cultural life, in which at least one Jew would not have been involved? As soon as one even carefully cut into such an abscess, one found, like maggots in a decaying body, often blinded by the sudden light, a kike.8
If we had at the beginning of, and during the war, subjected 12 or 15,000 of these Hebrew corrupters of the people to poison gas, as hundreds of thousands of our best German workers from all strata and occupations had to endure, then millions of victims of the Front would not have been in vain.9

just so you know the killling of the jews was later in his death camp days. at the beginning of the killings he killed an estimated 5 million christians and 1 million of other nationalities and religions. and only an estimated 11 million total so realistically it wasnt just the jews he was after.
when the camps were examined they found something along the lines of enough death crystals to kill 20 million people and there was only an estimated 6 or 7 million jews left if memory serves me on the numbers. but specifics asside he was ready do kill more than just the jews. and that was his plan. I think it was a plan to kill 3 million people a year or something along those lines. this is all been recorded but I dont feel like looking up the exact numbers since that wasnt really your question.

How Hitler became anti-Semitic:
"Hitler later wrote in his book Mein Kampf that his transition from opposing anti-Semitism on religious grounds to supporting it on racial grounds came from having seen an Orthodox Jew:
"There were very few Jews in Linz. In the course of centuries the Jews who lived there had become Europeanized in external appearance and were so much like other human beings that I even looked upon them as Germans. The reason why I did not then perceive the absurdity of such an illusion was that the only external mark which I recognized as distinguishing them from us was the practice of their strange religion. As I thought that they were persecuted on account of their faith my aversion to hearing remarks against them grew almost into a feeling of abhorrence. I did not in the least suspect that there could be such a thing as a systematic anti-Semitism.
Once, when passing through the inner City, I suddenly encountered a phenomenon in a long caftan and wearing black side-locks. My first thought was: Is this a Jew? They certainly did not have this appearance in Linz. I carefully watched the man stealthily and cautiously but the longer I gazed at the strange countenance and examined it feature by feature, the more the question shaped itself in my brain: Is this a German?"
(Mein Kampf, vol. 1, chap. 2: "Years of study and suffering in Vienna")
He targeted Jews because he was also anti-Marxist and there were a fair number of Jews in the marxist cause.

He believed Jews were evil. Some nazis say that Jews are the offspring of Eve and Satin.
Hitler believed Jews to be the problem behind the economic depression in Germany. Most of them had more money than average.
Hitler was crazy!

I doubt you'll get a valid answer as the ACLU will jump on anyone with both feet who tells a tale that differs from the standard victim's litany. You'll need to research this one yourself. While I agree that Hitler was a horrible man who used methods unspeakably insane, there were political reasons other than superiority for what he did.

hitler used the jews as a scapegoat to blame Germany's problems on. After WW1, germany was in a depression and they were an easy target for hitler to get the rest of the country on his side.

Well, they made obvious scapegoats(listen to neo-nazis now, they still use the same lines) and I've heard loosely confirmed tales about a Jewish grandmother who made him fairly miserable.
Though remember, this guy is a uni-testicular megalomaniac vegan meth addict who flunked out of art school. Anyone with much success at all could have been a target.

The truth is, it was SATANIC! It's all spiritual in nature.
Here's why. The tribe of Judah brought the Christ or Saviour. This Saviour will save man from the evil grip of Satan and DESTROY him.
Thus, Satan has a VENDETTA against the tribe of Judah particurlarly. That's why all people who are anti-semite are SATANIC in nature, but you won't here this from the MSM anytime soon.
It is written, Satan is the GOD of this world.

Everytime someone is successful, there are people who are jealous and envyous. The jews were more educated, hard working, and successful than others, so they were an easy target.
Examples:
-Big business
-Celebrities
-The United States
When did achievement become a crime?

Because there was at least a 400 year old tradition of anti-semitism in Germany before Hitler was so much as a gleam in his father's eye! Hitler didn't invent anti-semitism, but he sure as hell perfected it!
