Ditto what Miss Sunshine said. The song was by Meredith Brooks. Came out around 96 back when I was in college. I remember discussing with my bf back then how a song with those lyrics could even be played on the radio.

Actually everyone is correct. Alanis Morissette AND Meredith Brooks BOTH have the same song it just depends on what version you are referring to. Hope this helps.- J
