It seems targeted to early 20's - late 50's, but it caters to any age group (age 13-60). I started shopping there at 13.

according to a report I read from Michigan Interactive Investments the target market for BR is the mid 20s group who are in their first post college job. Of the gap family of products, which is BR, Gap Forth and town, and Old Navy, BR is the most expensive of the group and is a direct competitor of J. Crew & Ann Taylor.
