1995: poisoned burgers
1999: poisoned escargot
2003: poisoned wallaby steak
2007: poisoned escargot

Conclusion: All Blacks don't have the stomach to win a world cup.
Sorry wadecrptrng, the first two world cups do not count because quoting the full IRB board, "A world cup without the Springboks is not a legitimate world cup".

Yeah course they were! Dirty dirty tactics by the South Africans. All the detractors out there: Have you read anything other than what the media throws at you? Try reading 1 of the many biographies out there (i.e. Laurie Mains, Josh Kronfeld, Sean Fitzpatrick) by 1 of the players or coaching staff. That may give you a better idea of what it was like in S.A. at the time.

Any old excuse for losing. Why do people always have to blame something or somebody when they lose, instead of just that they were outdone by the the other team. Sore Loosers if u ask me.

No I don't think they were. Though that was quite inventive on their part, don't you think. Sometimes things just go wrong for teams in big tournaments and the grace and professionalism to admit that is more admirable.

That claim always sounded a bit far-fetched to me, but who knows?

Totally just an excuse. Nobody ever proved anything, so no they were not poisoned.
